current equipment:
Power supply, TinyTrak4 and Wouxun radio on 432.500 MHz. A Papouch RS-232 thermometer is connect to the Hewlett-Packard HP-48GX calculator which reads the temperature at regular intervals, converts the reading into an APRS compatible packet which is sent to the TT4 in TEXT mode.
The TinyTrak4 also works as a WIDE-n and LUX-n digi on 70 cm. Together with the APRS data received from the crossband digi LX0LTE this gives excellent APRS coverage for the city of Differdange.
